MISSION & ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE

MISSION STATEMENT:

The mission of the Lee CTA is to provide facilties and coordinate instructive and competitive tennis programs for youth and adults from Lee and surrounding towns.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:

• The Lee CTA is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit MA corporation, incorporated in 1992, with tax-exempt status. It is up to date with Annual Reports to the Secretary of the Commonwealth,  Form PC Filings with the Attorney General of MA, and N-card filings with the IRS.
•    
• The Lee CTA is governed by a Board of Directors. Daily operations are overseen by 3 Independent Contractors: Executive Director, Youth Tennis Director, and Adult Tennis Director. These positions are currently held by Clare Bunnie Lahey, DeWitt Thomson and Wilson Chang Tan, respectively.

• The Board contracts directly with the Executive Director and the Adult Tennis Director. These two contracts are reviewed by the board on an annual basis to see that objectives are being met.

• The Executive Director contracts with the Youth Tennis Director, reviewing on an annual basis to see that objective are being met.

• The Youth Tennis Director contracts directly with Site Directors and Coaches, as needed, to maintain the proper ratio of coach/students.
