USTA Free Tennis Play Days are an exciting opportunity to expose thousands of children and families to tennis. In addition to being fun and engaging for families, tennis is a great physical activity that encourages a healthy lifestyle.

TENNIS PLAY DAYS are open to the public with an emphasis placed on family participation, effort and sportsmanship. Children  are placed on evenly balanced teams for skills and game challenges. Refreshments will be served. Racquets and balls will be provided, though children are encouraged to bring their own racquets. Everyone should wear athletic shoes/ sneakers. We need volunteers to play along with the children, assist with scoring and rules for the younger children, or help run skills contests.

What to Wear or Bring:

  1. Athletic shoes/sneakers
  2. Note if your child is being picked up by someone other than a parent or guardian.

 What to Expect:

  • Many fun tennis activities and games for all ages and skills
  • Emphasis on fun, participation, effort and sportsmanship
  • Low pressure match play for any age & skill level (beginner - intermediate)
  • Special kid sized courts and special kids balls & racquets for instant success

Be sure to pick your child up at 3:00pm at the Lee High School tennis courts, and inform the coach if someone else other than the parent is picking up your child.

Parents are always welcome to join in the play or assist with PLAY DAYS  - a great way to learn tennis along with your child!  (please reply to this email if interested)
