JTT/Travel Team Overview

USTA Junior Team Tennis (JTT) is the largest youth tennis program in the country

helping boys and girls ages 5-18 get on the court and have a good time

JTT matches offer players of similar age and a chance to play competitive matches in a "team" format

With only one match and one practice per week, JTT is a committment that can fit within your busy summer schedule!

Teams are co-ed and divided into two levels of play:

  • Championship JTT - for advancing players

Berkshire County teams will compete with teams in the Pioneer Valley league.

Qualifying teams will compete in the Western MA National Championship Tournament on July 22 (rain date July 23) to advance to the New England JTT sectionals. Teams Forming Now!! Players who wish to try out for a Berkshire County team can email dshanesullivan@gmail.com (subject: JTT champ signup)

For league information (how to qualify) and a team commitment form, email Shane - dshanesullivan@gmail.com (subject: JTT Championship Team).

Local Leagues are organized by Age and Skill level. USTA membership is not required for local JTT.

  • 18 & Under (intermediate/advanced)

18 and Under JTT is a great opportunity for high school players to get together with their friends, make new ones, and enjoy six weeks of fun tennis matches, practices, and events over the course of the summer.

Teams forming now, sign up today and we will help you find a team!

  • 14 & Under (beginner, intermediate, or advanced)

14 and Under JTT is a great way for youth tennis players to get competitive match play experience, and to have a great time as they make friends and get to experience the enjoyment of Junior Team Tennis.

  • 8&Under, 10&Under (beginner and intermediate)

The 8 & Under and 10 & Under divisions utilize the 10 and Under Tennis format of play, focusing on healthy competition and fun. These matches combine smaller courts and special tennis balls to make the matches perfectly suited to players in this age division.

To find a 10 and Under team, parents can email dshanesullivan@gmail.com (program coordinator)

JTT players have the opportunity to play locally (across Berkshire County) as well as participating in a Western MA Tournament which takes place at the end of the season.

This year is a great time to get involved in Junior Team Tennis!

Sign up today and we will help find you a team!
