JTT Travel team Overview 

USTA Junior Team Tennis (JTT) for boys and girls ages 6-18.

JTT offers players a chance to play competitive matches in a "team" format.

Local JTT is for players of all skill levels.

18 and Under JTT is a great opportunity for high school players to get together with their friends, or make new ones, and enjoy eight weeks of competitive tennis matches over the course of the summer.

We're excited to have USPTA Pro Rich Butler returning this year as our 18U Coach!

Richard Butler, USPTA, has been teaching tennis in Berkshire County for 20 years.  His tennis career has included coaching Varsity tennis at Miss Halls School, teaching privately and as a member of the tennis staff at Canyon Ranch in Lenox, Bousquet Sport in Pittsfield and the Country Club of Pittsfield.  For the past 5 years he has coached and taught tennis for the Lee CTA at Greenock Country Club and Lee High School.  With a background in health and wellness, Richard is passionate about promoting fun, lifelong activities that keep people active and engaged.  His full time career is as the Wellness Coordinator for the Berkshire Health Systems in Pittsfield.

He'll be running practices 6-7:30 P.M. on Tuesday nights
and team matches 6-7:30 P.M. on Thursday nights.

14 and Under JTT is a great way for youth tennis players to get competitive match play experience, and to have a great time as they make friends and get to experience the enjoyment of Junior Team Tennis. Open to all players regardless of residency.

We're excited to have USPTR Pro Dan Herbst and NCAA Player Samantha White joining us this year to coach 14U JTT!

 Dan Herbst has been the head coach of the  Clark University Women's Tennis Team since 2015 and lead the team to a school record 10 wins in the 2015-16 season. He is  also a tennis professional at the  Canyon Ranch in Lenox, MA since 2015. Dan currently lives in CT, where he works at the Four Season's Racquet Club during the off rest of the year. H teaches in a very positive and upbeat style and is available for lessons with all ages and abilities.

Sam White was a high school and college tennis player at Mountain Mountain and Colby Sawyer College. In high school she was ranked #4 in western Massachusetts. For college her team won their division, the Tennis Hall of Fame tournament, and made it to the NCAAs. She was the assistant coach for the girls tennis team at MMRHS and taught the tennis camp at the Stockbridge Golf Club.  Sam has been playing tennis since she was three years old and is very passionate about the sport and teaching younger generations the manners of tennis.

They'll be running practices 4:30-6 P.M. on Tuesday nights
and team matches 4:30-6 P.M. on Thursday nights.
