JTT Travel team Overview  

USTA Junior Team Tennis (JTT) is approptisyr for boys and girls, ages 9-18 years. who have the basic skills and are interested in competition.

JTT offers players a chance to play competitive matches in a non-threatening "team" format.

JTT competition is the best avenue for refining skills,  learning team play, and developing good sportsmanship!

18 and Under JTT is a great opportunity for high school players to get together with their friends, or make new ones, and enjoy six weeks of competitive tennis matches over the course of the summer.

We're excited to have USPTA Pro Rich Butler returning this year as our 18U Coach!

Richard Butler, USPTA, has been teaching tennis in Berkshire County for 21 years.  His tennis career has included coaching Varsity tennis at Miss Halls School, teaching privately and as a member of the tennis staff at Canyon Ranch in Lenox, Bousquet Sport in Pittsfield and the Country Club of Pittsfield.  For the past 6 years he has coached and taught tennis for the Lee CTA at Greenock Country Club and Lee High School.  With a background in health and wellness, Richard is passionate about promoting fun, lifelong activities that keep people active and engaged.  His full time career is as the Wellness Coordinator for the Berkshire Health Systems in Pittsfield.

Rich will be running practices 6-7:30 P.M. on Tuesday nights
and team matches 6-7:30 P.M. on Thursday nights.

14 and Under JTT is a great way for young tennis players to gain competitive match play experience, develop sportsmanship, while having a great time as they make friends and get to experience the enjoyment of team play. Open to all players regardless of residency.

We're excited to have our long-time competitive coach, Brian Lavineo, moving up to this top coaching position.
Brian is a former singles player at Pittsfield High School with a strong winning record! Currently he's at 3rd year student at Williams College studying Environmental Justice! He has proven to be a great role model for our kids!

Not being offered in 2022. USTA is still regrouping after COVID pandemic, which interrupted many of the top competitive events. Hoping to see these favorite programs return to our area soon!
